What once started with educational software on CD-ROM grew into a lifelong passion for digital learning resources.
Today, that passion begins a new chapter: free educational apps for preschoolers, developed with a focus on learning, language, vocabulary and ease of use in the classroom.

👋 Who is behind EducaSoft?
My name is Bart Libert. I trained as a primary school teacher, but I have actually been fascinated by computers and educational software all my life. Hence the name EducaSoft.
The story of EducaSoft began back in 1992. That year, I developed my first educational software and created, among other things, the very first Belgian Dutch-language educational CD-ROM. And it never really stopped after that.
Almost 35 years later, I have built up quite a portfolio of educational programs. This also includes many educational CD-ROMs that I developed in the past for publisher die Keure.
Technology is constantly changing, but one thing has remained the same throughout all those years: my enjoyment of designing and developing applications that help children learn something in a fun way.

🧒 And now... EducaSoft for preschoolers
In mid-2026, I decided it was time for something new. This time, I wanted to create applications specifically aimed at preschoolers.
That is why EducaSoft.be now offers a growing range of free educational apps for preschoolers. These are not just games: every application is developed around a clear and specific educational objective.
The aim is for children to be able to practise independently, while the teacher can use a simple logbook to keep track of which activities were completed and how a child performed.
Why keep it simple when it can also be available in 20 languages?
To make the project a little more challenging, I decided to make the website and the applications available in no fewer than 20 languages.
You can easily switch languages at almost any time. The spoken instructions and words used in the exercises are also adapted to the selected language.
And no, unfortunately I don't speak all twenty of those languages myself. 😉
And all of it is free
All applications on EducaSoft.be are offered free of charge.
Of course, a project like this does come with costs. Web servers have to be paid for, and generating professional speech in twenty different languages also involves expenses.
Nevertheless, I really enjoy doing this. Above all, I hope that children, parents and teachers enjoy the exercises and that the applications can genuinely add value in the classroom.
EducaSoft is not a company
Just to be clear: EducaSoft is not a company today. There was once a commercial activity under that name, but what I have been creating online since 2020 is primarily a hobby project. That does not mean that I do not still try to complete everything with the same care and professional quality as I did in the past.
